JESSE RONALD CAIN

   Mr. Jesse R. Cain, 69, of Quincy died at 2:56 a.m. Friday (March 30, 2012) in Blessing Hospital.

  Born August 14, 1942 in Quincy, Jesse was the son of Jesse Ray and Ruth M. Mangold Cain.

   He was an ordained minister who had a strong belief in God.  He loved reading his Bible and singing.  He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

   Jesse was employed at Keokuk Steel Casting, Motorola, and Quincy Junior High School until his retirement due to ill health.

  Survivors include his loving companion, Jean Mitchell; four daughters Jeanne Cain and her finance' William Feather of Paloma, IL, Michelle Cain, Angela Edgecomb and Krista Cain all of Quincy; one son Randy Cain (Sandy) of Brighton, IA; nine grandchildren Shelbi Cain, Andrew Edgecomb, Christopher Edgecomb, Cameron Lawrence, Cassandra Lawrence Alanna Edgecomb, Chase Lawrence, Alexander Selves and Eliana Cain; two brothers Gary Cain (Wanda) and Robert E. Cain both of Quincy. Also surviving are several loving nieces and nephews.

  Mr. Cain was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Dennis Cain, one son Ronald Glenn Cain and a grandson Zachary Donhardt.

   Funeral services will be held Saturday evening 6:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with Ron Wellman officiating.

   Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 4:00 until the time of services at 6:30 at the funeral home.  Private burial will take place at a later date in Greenmount Cemetery.

   Memorials may  made to the Jesse Ronald Cain Memorial Fund.

Am so sorry for your loss. I know your heart is heavy over your loss but he is in a much better place sitting at the feet of Jesus waiting on us.
