   Delesa  "Lesa" Williams, 52, of 630 State Street, Quincy, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday (December 15, 2011) in her home.

   Born February 21, 1959 in Quincy, Lesa was the daughter of Lawrence Eugene and Barbara Jean Herrington Herman.

   Lesa was a 1977 graduate of Quincy High School where she was a member of the swim team. She later swam at the YMCA with her group called the "Water Bugs".  She enjoyed collecting wind-up toys, doing puzzles, and dearly loved to spend time with her grandchildren.  Lesa was also instrumental in helping to get the West Central Illinois Independent Living Program started.
   Lesa had worked as a self employed hair dresser and then for various hair salons in Quincy.

   Survivors include her life's companion, Gary Smith of Quincy; one daughter, Stacy A. Williams of Quincy; two grandchildren, Kelsey Marie Harvey and Kolton Dean Williams both of Quincy; eight brothers, Bryan Herman and his wife Sherry of Fowler, IL, Kevin Herman and his companion Brenda Lay, Terry Herman and his wife Kathy, Larry Herman and his wife Diane, Scott Herman and his companion Vicki Ridder, Karl Herman and his wife Michelle, Daren Herman and his wife Tina and Randy Herman and his wife Amy all of Quincy;  many loving nieces and nephews; one great niece; and a special friend and caregiver, Tracy Carrico of Quincy.

   Lesa was preceded in death by her parents.

   Memorial services will be held Monday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Disseler officiating.  Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

   Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Monday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice or the Mulitple Sclerosis Society.
