He was a such a great person, I hadn't seem him in a long time but I thought of him often. He was always a joy to be around, my thoughts and prayers are with Scottie and Jake. He had no greater passion than his kids, they meant everything to him. Rest in Peace dear friend...you will be missed!

Virgil was a truly great friend to myself and to my boyfriend Eli. We both enjoyed his company and his smile that light up his whole face! (and an entire room!) He was a great jokester and was always great companionship.
Unfortunately, we did not learn of his passing until February 2012. We left the Quincy area in 2010 and had lost track of Virgil. Elisha and I got to talking about Virgil and reminiscing about the good times we enjoyed with him, and I decided to try and get in touch with him, and was very heartbroken to find his obituary. He will be missed very much. Now we have an Angel in Heaven to welcome us into God''s loving arms.
