Mrs Kathryn Hull, 95, of St. Vincent's Home, formerly of 2220 Aldo Blvd., Quincy,  died at 7:25 p.m. Sunday (March 11, 2012) in St. Vincents Home.

   Born February 12, 1917 in Beverly, Illinois, Kathryn was the daughter of James E. and Kathryn Lawson Richardson.  She married Paul R. Hull on September 27, 1941 in Fulton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2006.

   Kathryn was a member of the Beverly Methodist Church.

   A 1936 graduate of Quincy High School and a graduate of the Quincy Beauty School, Kathryn worked as a beautician for two years before going to Blessing Hospital where she was employed in the SPO Department for 23 years until her retirement.

   Survivors include a son, Gary Hull (Sandra) of Wooster, OH; a daughter, Linda Lierly (James) of Quincy; four grandchildren, Mark Lierly and Kimberly Lubbert (Allen) both of Quincy, Catherine DuPuy of Columbus, OH and Alfred DuPuy (Fanny) of Toronto, Canada; seven great grandchildren, Eric Lubbert, Abbey Lubbert, Lucy Freccia, Charlotte Freccia, Sofia DuPuy, Phoebe DuPuy and Grant DuPuy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Mrs. Hull was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; three brothers, Linford Richardson, James Richardson and a brother in infancy; and three sisters, Erna Tomlin, Elizabeth Bosley and Mary Frances Clark.

   Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 in the Beverly Methodist Church by the Lois Sorrill. Burial will be in Mound Prairie Cemetery in Beverly.

   Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home and Friday morning from 9:30 until the time of services at the Beverly Methodist Church.

   Memorials may be made to the Beverly Methodist Church or the Mound Prairie Cemetery Association.

Sorry to see the passing of a very nice lady, my sympathy to Linda and Gary's family, we all knew each other thru church, 4-H, and school. mr & Mrs Hull were very find people, you and your family member's are in my thoughts and prayers...John & Vicki Jackson

Kathryn was such a lovely lady, she and I became friends at St. Vincents when I worked there. I was blessed to know her for the short time I did.
