   Mr. Larry Clair, 65, of 639 York, Quincy, died at 4:49 a.m. Tuesday (May 15, 2012) in Timber Point Health Care Center in Camp Point, Illinois.

   Born September 4, 1946 in Quincy, Larry was the son of Louis and Helen Riley Clair.

   A Die Hard Cubs Fan, Larry also enjoyed woodworking, gardening and watching TV.

   Larry was employed as a driver for various companies in the area.

   Survivors include three sisters, Linda Vahle (Eugene Jr.), Cheryl "Cheri" Emery (Gary) and Sharon Herrington (Ronald) all of Quincy; four nephews, Jason Daggs (Candy) of Ewing, MO, Steven Herrington and Jeff Herrington both of Quincy and Jon Herrington (Annie) of Temple, TX; and a niece, Laura Vahle of Quincy.

   Mr. Clair was preceded in death by his parents.

   Cremation rites have been accorded to Mr. Clair. No services are planned at this time.

   Memorials may be made to the Larry Clair Memorial Fund in care of the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home, 1435 State St., Quincy, IL 62301.

My heart goes out to Larry's family at this time of sorrow, Larry was a great guy and will be missed by all that knew him. Larry's stories and laughter will be how I remember him along with his helping anyone in need. R.I.P. Friend!

so very sorry to hear about larry. he was truelly a great friend. we had a lot of good times. he was a great frien who would do anything for you. wish i could of spent more time with him these last few years. my heart goes out to his family. i know he will be missed. rip good buddy till i see you again.
