MARILYN M. KELLEY

   Mrs. Marilyn M. Kelley, 86, of  the Good Samaritan Home, Quincy, died at 5:20 a.m. Thursday (June 7, 2012) in Blessing Hospital.

   Born July 22, 1925 in Bloomington, Illinois, Marilyn was the daughter of Alfred and Florence Lux Mansfeldt. She married Bryson E. Kelley on March 19, 1947 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1999.

   Marilyn was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ but had become active with the Good Samaritan Home Chapel services in recent years. She enjoyed life and her greastest joy was spending time with her family.

   A graduate of Francis Howell High School in Howell, MO and Blessing Hospital School of Nursing, Marilyn was a Registerd Nurse working in the Quincy Clinic for many years with Dr. Jumonville. She retired in 1987.

   Survivors include a daughter, Linda Rose and her husband Rick of Quincy; a granddaughter, Kelly Wellman and her husband Casey of Quincy; a great grandson, Landon Wellman;  a sister in law, Esther Lunsford of Maryland Heights, MO; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bryson; and two brothers, Richard Mansfeldt and Rodger Mansfeldt.  

   Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Pastor Steve Disseler.  Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

   Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 6:00 and Monday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society, Good Samaritan Home or Trinity Church.
