   Mr. Allan L. Buss, 61, of Payson, died at 1:27 a.m. Tuesday (August 14, 2012) in his home.

   Born June 17, 1951 in Carthage, Illinois, Allan was the son of Alvin Buss and Vivian Guymon Buss Melton.

   Allan enjoyed woodworking, painting and reading and loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

   Allan had been employed in the engineering department at Harris and later as a driver for Silver Eagle Express in Quincy until his retirement due to health reasons.

   Survivors include his longtime companion, Jeannie Frisch; a son, Aaron Buss (Jennifer) of Quincy; four daughters, Christy Wade of Unionville, Mo, Jennifer Florez (Robert) of St. Louis, MO, Amanda Cox (Thomas) of Quincy and Heather Frisch of Payson; nine grandchildren, Jamie, Kate, Daniel, Lillian, Kayleigh, Kody, Korey, Amber, Jasmine and was expecting a grandson in December; his step mother, Minnie Buss; two brothers, Curt Buss (Melissa) of Quincy and David Buss of Quincy; two sisters, Mari Lynn Stenson (Ken) of Quincy and Elizabeth Ellefritz (Wayne) of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Mr. Buss was preceded in death by his parents; and his step father, Dale Melton.

    Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:30 in theZehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Pastor Jason Moncofsky.  Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.

   Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be given to the Allan Buss Memorial Fund.
