   Mrs. Marcia J. Buckner, 74, Quincy, died at 1:48 p.m. Wednesday (October 3, 2012) in the home of her daughter in Quincy.

   Born May 23, 1938 in Quincy, Marcia was the daughter of Ralph and Alice Price Willer. She married Albert "Dale" Buckner on December 9, 1967 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2005.

   Marcia was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. An accomplished painter, Marcia won many awards for both oil painting and water color painting. She enjoyed music and loved to play the organ and will be remembered for the many greeting cards she sent to family and friends. Marcia devoted her life to her family and cherished the time she spent with them, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her dog, Lucky.

   Survivors include three daughters, Susie Naderhoff (Kraig), Diane Kurk (Leroy Lane) and Missy Hildebrand (Todd) all of Quincy; six grandchildren, Amy Terstriep  (Bob), Derek Jennings (Karrisa), Ryan Naderhoff, Ricky Barnes (Crissy), Stephanie Gilker and Jake Hildebrand all of Quincy; seven great grandchildren, Cole Terstriep, Reese Terstriep, Luke Jennings, Emma Jennings, Kendal Jennings, Ricky Barnes III and Brady Barnes; two brothers, Elwood Willer (Eleanor) and Theodore Willer (Pat) both of Quincy; three sisters, Patricia Grave, Mary Alice Miles and Charlotte Siebers (Bob) all of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Mrs. Buckner was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale; a son in law, Gregory Jennings; a grandson, Marc Naderhoff; and a brother, Ralph Willer Jr.

   Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home and at 10:00 in St. Francis Catholic Church by Rev. Duc Pham. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Quincy.

   Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 6:00  and Monday morning until the time of services at the funeral Home.  A Parish Prayer service will be held Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to the Quincy Animal Shelter.

Missy and Charlotte, I''m so sorry for your loss. I didn''t really know Marcia, but I do know how hard it is to lose a loved one. You and your families are certainly in my thoughts and prayers.

Woody, Ted and family: I was so sorry to learn of Marcia's passing. Certainly does not seem like 60+ years ago were we all kids growing up on 24th Street. Know that the family is in my thoughts and prayers.
