ROSEMARY L. OSMEYER

   Mrs. Rosemary L. Osmeyer, 72 , of Quincy  died at 9:55 pm (Wednesday October 17, 2012) in the Good Samaritan Home.

   Born September 1, 1940 in Quincy, Rosemary  was the daughter of Robert and Evelyn Fischer Gredell.  She married Wayne F. Osmeyer on April 14, 1962 in Quincy.  He preceded her in death on April 23, 1991.

   Rosemary was a 1958 graduate of Payson-Seymour High School and also graduated from the Quincy Beauty Academy.  She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, gardening, oil painting and league bowling.  A devoted mother and homemaker for her family, her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

   Rosemary owned and operated a Beauty Shop from her home for several years until her retirement in 2001 due to illness.

   Survivors include a daughter, Melissa A. Elder (Matt) of Payson, IL; a son, Wesley F. Osmeyer (Donna)  of Trenton, S C; two grandchildren, Amanda Hagerbaumer (Cory) of Plainville, IL and Renee Osmeyer of Muncie, IN; a great grandchild, Abigail Hagerbaumer; two brothers, Ray Wear (Carlene) of Luray, MO and Robert Wear of Missouri; three sisters, Naomi Ellis of Vandalia, MO, Marilyn Northrup (Cliff) of Galena, IL and Carolyn Loos (Den) of Bethel, MO.

   Mrs. Osmeyer was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Wayne.

   Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson with Pastor Mike Duffy officiating.   Burial will be in the Payson New Cemetery.

   Visitation will be Monday morning from 10:00 until the time of services at the funeral home in Payson.

   Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Home.

Deepest sympathy to Rosemary''s family. We were neighbors many years ago. Rosemary always had a smile and a good word. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew her.
