    Mrs. Patricia A. "Pat" Brinkmeyer, 87,  Quincy, died at 12:00 p.m. Thursday (January 24, 2013) in Good Samaritan Home.

   Born October 31, 1925 in Quincy, Pat was the daughter of William C. and Alberta S. Blume Madigan.  She married Robert "Bob" Brinkmeyer on October 31, 1948 in Quincy. He survives.

   Pat was a member of Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ where she was active with the Couples Club and Women's Guild. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, art and crafts and floral arranging and was an avid Bridge player, winning many Bridge Tournament Championships.

   Pat worked as a seamstress and was employed at Betty Gay's Womens Dress Shop and as a floral arranger at Kroner Florist for many years. She later worked as a framer at Inman's Frames until her retirement.  Pat shared her gift by teaching others the art of floral arranging in classes at John Wood Community College.

   Survivors include her husband, Bob; two sons, R. Michael "Mike" Brinkmeyer (Colleen) of Liberty, IL and Steve Brinkmeyer (Sarah) of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren, Chris Brinkmeyer (Cindy) of Omaha, NE, Rob Brinkmeyer of Liberty, IL, Matthew Brinkmeyer (Allison) and Neil Brinkmeyer both of Memphis, TN; four great grandchildren, Alek Caskey, Geneve Brinkmeyer, Madelleine Brinkmeyer and Liam Brinkmeyer; a sister, Mary Wachter Smith (Ralph) of  Ely, MN; a brother in law, Richard "Dick" Brinkmeyer (Shirley) of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Mrs. Brinkmeyer was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Barbara Wainscott; a brother in law, Ken Wachter; and two nieces, Lori Russo and Joy Marie Wainscott.

   Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Ronald Graham.  Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

   Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of services at the funeral home.
