DAVID L. SCHOCH

  David L. Schoch, 48, of Liberty died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday (January 30, 2013) in Blessing Hospital.

   Born December 25, 1964 in Garden Grove, CA David was the son of Leroy and Deloris Downs Schoch.

   David enjoyed playing computer games, fishing, woodworking and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

   Mr. Schoch was a self employed computer technician for several years until his retirement due to ill health.

   Survivors include his life partner, Jodi Brogdon of Liberty; two step daughters, Holly Wells (Aaron) and Amy Brogdon both of Quincy; one step son, Josh Brogdon (Brandi) of Springfield, IL; three grandchildren, Alex Brogdon of Liberty, Brady Wells and Noah Wells both of Quincy; one sister, Jane D. "Janie" Bryson (Charles W. Jr.) Marcelline, IL; one nephew, Trey Bryson (Angie) of Ursa, IL and one niece, Tammy Conboy (Josh) of Mendon, IL.

  Mr. Schoch was preceded in death by his parents, and a nephew, Craig Bryson.

   A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of David L. Schoch will be held Saturday evening from 3:00 until 6:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.

      Private inurnment will take place at a later date in New Providence Cemetery near Ursa.

   Memorials may be made to his grandchildren's education fund.

Davids was an amazing man, one whom i will never forget, and am proud to have known him.
A very giving and kind person to everyone who knew him. he will always be remembered and alive in my heart..

my sincere condolences to the family, as they all became part of mine.
