For 28 years, Mike worked in different capacities for the same organization in various cities, ending his career as a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer.

Mike loved to travel and during his short life visited many different countries.  While studying in Germany, Mike backpacked through Germany, France, Italy, Austria and Switzerland.  He also visited South America and made several trips to South Africa and Botswana where he developed his love for photographing the African wildlife, especially the wild (painted) dogs.  Reading and listening to music was another favorite pastime.

Mike is survived by his life-partner, Estelle; his mother, Mary Stormer of Quincy; and his father, Coley Stormer of Quincy; his twin brother, Matthew (Matt); older brother, Aaron (Toby) both of Quincy; step-children. twins Jolene Bell of Buford, Georgia and Jon-Paul Bell  (Jessie) of Jacksonville, NC; a special Aunt, Joyce (Jack) Stormer Settle of Quincy; an Uncle, Robert Bennett of Quincy; and several cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, EK (Benny) and Catherine Bennett; his paternal grandparents, Aaron and Marjorie Stormer; and an Aunt, Carol (Bennett) Dierker.

Mike was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and friend.  He will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held Monday afternoon at 5:00 in the Zehender-Robinson-Stormer-Cookson Funeral Home by Pastor Steve Disseler.  Private family interment will be held in Greenmount Cemetery.
