MARY  ELIZABETH  DECKER

   Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Decker, 82, of  Quincy, died at 4:10 p.m. Friday (May 17, 2013) in her home.

   Born June 7, 1930 in Quincy, Mary was the daughter of Wilbur Elmer and Hazel Gertrude Ferguson Smith. She married Glenn E. Decker on December 31, 1954 in Quincy. He survives.

   Mary  loved Jesus and was strong in her faith as a member of Faith Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed sewing and bluegrass music, but her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.

   Mary and Glenn were active for many years at the Colony Flea Market.

   Survivors include her husband, Glenn; a son, Rick Decker (Jan) of Mendon, IL; two daughters, Debbie Decker and Glenda Ragar both of Ewing, MO; eight grandchildren, Monty Ray Decker of Maywood, MO, Rusty Decker (Chrysi) of Maywood, MO, Denise Mewes (Jimmy) of Quincy, MaryBeth Howerton (Brian) of Hurdland, MO, Erin Ragar of Ewing, MO, Glenn Decker (Beth) of Lewistown, MO, Jennifer Ragar of Knox City, MO and Ryan Ragar of Ewing, MO, Jeremy Cheesbrough (Julie) of North Platt, NE, Scott Cheesbrough (Jennifer) of Mayock, N.C. and Ty Cheesbrough (Ashley) of El Cajon, CA; thirty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Stanbridge of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Mrs. Decker was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gene Smith; a sister in infancy, Dorothy Mae Smith; and a niece, Gena DeWitt.

   Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. V. Lee Amsler.  Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.

   Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Wednesday until the time of services at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to the James Cary Cancer Center.
