PEGGY BRIDGMAN- SHANNON

Peggy  Bridgman-Shannon, 64, of 637 Payson Ave., Quincy, died at 10:47 p.m. Thursday (June 6, 2013) in Blessing Hospital.

   Born December 7, 1948 in Quincy, Peggy was the daughter of Roy L. and Betty Young Bridgman.

   She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards, crocheting, camping and having coffee with her friends. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.
  
   Peggy was employed for many years as a dietician at Good Samaritan Home until her retirement  May of 2012.

   Survivors include her father, Roy Bridgman of Quincy; two daughters, Rebecca Keck (Scott) of New Berlin, IL and Buffy Schulze (Brad) of Quincy; a son, Jason Norfolk (Jennifer) of Quincy; four grandchildren, Nolan Keck of New Berlin, IL, Samantha Mixer of Quincy, Lukas Keck of New Berlin, IL and Kalli Norfolk of Quincy, IL and ; a brother, Daniel Bridgman (Julie) of Quincy; three sisters, Pam Appel (Steve) of Palmyra, MO, Patty Smith (Dan) of Tustin, CA and Paula Spidle of Hamilton, IL; one uncle, Virgil Young (Ruby) Hannibal, MO and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Betty; a brother, Michael Bridgman; and a sister, Penny Lugering.

   Cremation rights have been accorded. No services are planned at this time.

   Memorials may be made to the Peggy Bridgman-Shannon Memorial Fund.

   The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
