Bill spent many hours at our home in his early teens. He was a friend of both my daughters. We always enjoyed having him. He was such a gentleman & gemtle man. I hope Roni's poem will provide comfort to the family.
A Top A High Mountain
I had a dream of a mountain high
Its cap disappeared into the sky.
Around its base, wild flowers grew;
How fresh was the smell, when kissed by the dew.
A stream flowed past this mountain grey,
And the sun struck its side near the close of the day.
Many climbed to see what was up there
Not one returned, no one could share
So, I climbed the mountain and to my surprise
Was an awesome sight that put stars in my eyes.
More beautiful than eyes had ever seen
All were there that had gone before;.
More beautiful than eyes have ever seen
A sky of Azure and grass of green.
All were there who had gone
They danced in the meadow trough a pearly door.
I joined them in their dancer of glee and I’m not coming down.
I’ll just wait for thee.

This just truly broke my heart to see. Bill was my first boyfriend as a teen. Roller Country days are my greatest memories. My mom adored Bill. His heart was greater than this world. You will never ever be forgotten.
