BEA ARNOLD

   Mrs. Beulah Elizabeth Wilhelmina "Bea" Arnold, 91, of the Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 715 South 19th, Quincy, died at 10:45 a.m. Friday (November 15, 2013) at the Good Samaritan Home.

   Born January 6, 1922 in Quincy, Bea was the daughter of Edward H. and Bertha Brockmeyer Beckman. She married Edward W. Landwehr on July 3, 1942 in Denver, Colorado. He preceded her in death. She married Duane C. Arnold on November 26, 1976 in Quincy. He preceded her in death.

   Bea was a member of Luther Memorial Church. She enjoyed Bingo, arts and crafts and flower arranging. She kept active at Good Samaritan Home by volunteering in the General Store and arranging flowers donated to the home.

   Bea was employed at Quincy Medical Group for 14 years, working with Dr. Hagler and Dr. Cravens. She left Quincy following her marriage to Duane and was employed at Michigan South Macomb Hospital near Detroit until her retirement in 1984.  Bea returned to Quincy following Duane's death.

   Survivors include a daughter, Karen S. Smith of Quincy; two sons, Michael E. Landwehr (Janet)  and Robert E. Landwehr both of Quincy; seven grandchildren, Scott Smith (Janet), Eric Smith (Aliza), Chris Landwehr (Jamy), Matthew Landwehr (Kristen), Steve Landwehr (Michelle), Karla Landwehr and Joe Landwehr; sixteen great grandchildren; two sisters in law, Dorothy Beckman and Joann Beckman both of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her Parents; her husbands; a great granddaughter, Emma Smith; two brothers, Edward H. Beckman and Lee C. Beckman; and two sisters, Dorothy A. Wellman and Arlene B. Tenk

   Graveside services will be held Monday morning at 11:00 in the Quincy Memorial Park Mausoleum by the Rev. Tony Metz.  

   There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the graveside services. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

   Memorials may be made to the Employee Assistance Fund at Good Samaritan Home or the Quincy Humane Society.
