My deepest sympathy to the family, Tom was truly one of a kind, he was a faithful servant and a amazing Shepard to all who knew him. He fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith, now there is in store for him the crown of righteousness. He was a overcomer and is now granted the privileged of eating from the tree of life in the paradise of God. Take comfort in knowing he is wrapped in the arms of Love and will be waiting our reunion. Blessings and Peace! Russ Hess Sr.

Pastor Tom gave me my first chance to minister from the pulpit as a young men back in the late 1970's. He was my pastor at Grandview Baptist Church back then. So many good memories of the G-Men Gospel Quartet, "Rev. Ev" the female evangelist, Thursday night Bible studies and fellowship times. He was a great man of God and a leader of the pastoral community in so many ways. He will be sorely missed on this side of the doorway to heaven, but I wouldn't take from him one moment in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Grace, peace, and blessings to the Waters family during this time of transition...

So sorry to hear about Thomas Lee passing. Our father's were brothers but Jamie was like a father to my dad, Tom. Although the Waters family seldom got together, I have fond memories visiting with cousin Tom when they did get together in Charleston. I also remember going to Quincy and playing with Cathy and Francie when we were all little girls. Our thoughts and sympathy to all of the family. Mom, age 97, (Mary Elizabeth Waters) sends her sympathy also. Sorry we will not be able to make the trip to Quincy from Oklahoma.

Maxine and I are deeply saddened by the loss of a great friend, minister, and spiritual advisor. Tom was the first minister we met when we arrived in Quincy in 1981. He was a Pastor advisor for Women's Aglow when Maxine was President. He walked with integrity, and played the piano with style and grace, just as he lived.

We are praying for you Joyce and family members. His essence of integrity and spiritual depth and love of the Lord are his legacy. He will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.

I was just talking to him a few months ago.He said "Becky, have you found yourself a good church?".I said "pastor, no I haven't yet". He shook my hand and said" keep yor eyes on the Heavens and get your soul prepared for Jesus is coming soon".He always had a smile and never once walked by me w/o saying hello or God Bless you.His preaching would send chills down my spine at times but I knew that message was for me..He is truly going to be missed by so many people that his ministry has touched...He was a remarkable man ...

Heaven is alive with the sound of music upon Pastor Tom's arrival. What an amazing talent he was and what an amazing man. His life was all about love - love of the Lord, love of family, love of friends and love of community. His life touched so many in so many different ways. Pastor Tom will long be remembered. The snow is keeping us home today; however, our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
