   Billie Ann Steffen- Riddle, 60, of Quincy died at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday (April 9, 2014) in her home.

   Born December 20, 1953 in Quincy, Billie was the daughter of William "Bill" and Betty Jean Schnellbacher Steffen.  She married Roy E. Riddle on May 3, 1997 in Quincy.  He survives.

   Billie was a 1972 graduate of Payson Seymour High School.  She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan she also enjoyed listening to music and going to concerts.  She and her husband also enjoyed traveling through out the southern United States.  Most of all she loved to spend time with her familyand friends and her little wiener dog Chucky.  Billie really enjoyed planning all the family events and parties.  Her smile and sparkling blue eyes will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.

   Billie was employed at several restaurants and bars in St. Louis and Daytona Beach, Florida and also sold real estate in St. Louis.

   Survivors include her husband Roy; her mother Betty Jean Steffen of Quincy; a brother Terry Lee Steffen of Quincy and a sister Sandra J. Grannan of Quincy; five nephews, Todd Grannan, Jeffrey Grannan, Greg Grannan all of Sarasota, FL, Steven Steffen and Kurt Steffen both of Quincy.  Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews and two great great nephews.

   Mrs. Riddle was preceded in death by her father.

   Funeral services will be held Monday morning 10:00 a.m. in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with the Pastor Steve Disseler officiating.  Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Monday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society.

Even though I am filled with sadness over the departure of my friend. I am extremely fortunate for so many good memories of Billie. Roy, Betty (Billie's mother) and Chucky too, you have my love, my sympathy and are in my thoughts and prayers.

Was sadden to hear we lost a sweet, smiling, great personality, friendly lady. My parents when they first seen Billie, they approach her telling her she looked so much like a sis in law, my condolences.

Sorry to hear of Billie's passing. Can't believe we just saw her a few weeks ago, and now she is gone. Great person, who was always taking care of her mother Betty. She will be missed.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers go out to you. Billie was a very sweet women, very strong and dedicated to her family. I was always very impressed by the love, attention and detail that she put into caring for her father in his last days. She and Bill had those bright sparkling crystal blue eyes and that beautiful smile! God Bless!
