MICHAEL G. VEILE

  Michael G. Veile, 50, of Payson died at 7:20 a.m. (April 12, 2014) in North Adams Nursing Home in Mendon.

  Born August 20, 1963 in Quincy, Michael was the son of Herbert G. and Joyce A. White Veile.

   Michael was a 1981 graduate of Quincy High School.  He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed collecting coins and military items.  He also liked  to read military history and watch television especially Japanese cartoons.

  Survivors include his mother Joyce A. Veile of Payson and a brother Jeffrey A. Veile of Payson.  Also surviving are several cousins, aunts and uncles.

   Mr. Veile was preceded in death by his father and one brother Patrick Veile.

   A funeral mass will be held Thursday morning 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Hagstrom officiating.  Burial will be in Payson New Cemetery.

   Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson.

   Memorials may be made to the North Adams Nursing Home or to the Payson Volunteer Fire Department.

Our condolences to you Joyce and Jeffrey. We thank you deeply for the opportunity to care for Michael. He became one of our family members and he is missed by many residents (his bowling buddies especially) and many staff already.
