MARY L. CALDWELL

   Mary L. Caldwell, 71, of Quincy died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday (April 23, 2014) in Blessing Hospital.

   Born September 4, 1942, in Quincy, she was the daughter of Stanley R. and Ludvina "Lou" Maas Inman. She married Wayne V. Caldwell on January 27, 1962 in Quincy. He  preceded her in death on November, 10 2013.

   Mary attended Blessed Sacrament Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the Boat in LaGrange with her husband.

   Mary Lou and her husband owned and operated Caldwell's Book Exchange at 1100 North 24th where they were well known as the Penny Candy Store. She retired in 2005.

   Survivors include a sister, Dodie Abbott of Coatsburg; a sister-in-law, Maxine Londowski of Oshkosh, WI; a brother Dale Inman (Ann) of Troy. MI; three nephews, Bobby Abbott, Carl Londowski (Lisa) and Alex Inman; five nieces, Sandy Waterman (Jeff), Paula Vaughan (Jim), Diane Groff (Jeff), Jill Inman and Lisa Inman; several great nieces and nephews, including Kimberly Abbott of Camp Point and great great nieces and nephews.

   Mrs Caldwell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a son, Richard "Ricky" Caldwell; a brother, Dennis Inman; two brothers-in-law; Paul Londowski and Phillip Upschulte and a sister-in-law, Wanda Upschulte

   Graveside services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 in Greenmount Cemetery by Monsignor Michael Kuse.
  
   There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the graveside service. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.

   Memorials may be made to the Timber Point Health Care Center Activity Fund.
