Hoover, Sheila, and Justin,
You all are so fortunate to have had the time you did with mom. Millie was such a wonderful, loving, and caring woman. From the Millie that I knew, I would say that her greatest accomplishments by far to her was you, Sheila, and her wonderful grandson, Justin. The two of you along with her wonderful husband was her everything. Millie was always so great with our son, Jordan also. She treated him as if he was her grandson too, and that takes a very wonderful person to do that. I always enjoyed watching her at any of Justin's games. The sparkle in her eyes and the pride that she showed was just so heart warming. She is so proud of Justin and the man that you, Sheila, made of him. Millie will continue to be by your sides and you better believe, that she will continue to be at every game of Justin's. You both are very fortunate to have the best guardian angel that you could ever have. All here of you have our deepest sympathy and prayers. Love you.

Dear Sheila and Justin,

The parents, staff and members of the Francis Howell Central Boy’s Basketball Program were saddened to hear about the passing of your mother and grandmother, Mildred “Millie” Wade.

Our program has always placed a priority on family and we know how difficult this loss must be for you. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Some of us had the opportunity to see Millie at Justin’s basketball games and anyone who met her, knew that she was not only a basketball enthusiast, but she was also one of Justin’s biggest fans and supporters.

We know that you will miss your mother and grandmother; however, we pray that God will comfort you and your family with his peace and strength during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Coach Larry Anders, Coach Scott Thorpe, Coach Brian Cissell, Coach Scott Dauve & the players and parents of the Francis Howell Central Boys
Basketball Program.

Sheila and Justin,

We are so sorry for your loss and want you to know you are in our prayers.

Terry and I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Millie at one of the boy's basketball games. I have to tell you that it was one of my most memorable games because she was so much fun! Somehow we struck up a conversation and she told me that Justin was her grandson and she told me how she loved going to see all of his sporting events ever since he was young.

She was quite lively and also yelled at the boys and told them to "rebound" and tried to whip them into shape from the stands. :)

It was evident that she was extremely proud of Justin and enjoyed every minute of each game she was able to attend.

It's such a blessing that you were able to enjoy her for so long--although I'm sure it doesn't feel nearly long enough.

Please know that our family is here for you should you need anything at all.

Sincerely,

Yolanda, Terry, Tre Curry & Family
