   Sandra A. Smith, 75, of Quincy, died at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday (November 5, 2014) in Blessing Hospital.
   Born December 14, 1938 in Quincy, Illinois, Sandra was the daughter of  George and Virginia Fleer Davis. She married Donald L. Smith on August 17, 1957 in Quincy, Illinois.  He survives.

   Sandra had been a member of Central Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, taking walks, solving puzzle books, listening to Country Music and spending time with her family.

   Sandra was employed as a waitress for Brown Drug Store for over 25 years. She retired in 1976.

   Survivors include her husband, Donald; five sons, Larry D. Smith (Mary), Don "Pete" Smith Jr. (Ginger), Terry W. Smith (Kathy), Ronald E. Smith (Mary) and Jerry Q. Smith (Julie) all of Quincy; seven grandchildren, Lindsey Marie Lillard (Joe) of Quincy, Joshua E. Smith (Kayla) of Danvers, IL, Jeremy Smith of Quincy, Chad Smith (Lindell) of Quincy, Emily Smith of Quincy, Matthew Sutton (Sunny) of Temple, TX and Eric Sutton (Erica) of Quincy; nine great grandchildren, Allie Lillard, Logan Lillard, Ava Lillard, Jordan Smith, Dallas Smith, Kolton Smith, Annabelle Sutton, Laykin Sutton and Logan Sutton; two brothers, Paul W. Davis (Judy) of Quincy and Gary L. Davis (Gari) of Taylor, MO; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Larry Smith Jr.; and a sister, Elizabeth Wittner.

   Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with Brother Ed Arambasich officiating.  Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

   Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Saturday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to the Firefighters Ministries.

To Sandys' family, I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a great neighbor to me when I lived on Payson Avenue. You have my deepest sympathy.

Don and Family. Were extremely sorry to hear of Sandra's passing. She had a warm and happy personality, who was always great to talk with. I'm sure she is going to be greatly missed by all who new her.
