Received a telephone call this morning (Saturday Dec 6) from Don Redner's(Butch) brother George. He had met Eric at Hyvee drinking coffee. They got to talking and swapping war stories. George wanted to express his sympathy to the family. Eric was the kind of guy who never met a stranger and could always find a common ground. As my son Earnie said "No matter where you saw Eric he would always stop and talk to you." You may forget what people say, you may forget what people do, but you will never forget how people made you feel. Eric validated every person he met. He will be missed.
