SHARON  L.  HUMES

   Sharon L. Humes, 62, of 527 Broadway, Quincy, died at 5:35 a.m. Sunday (February 8, 2015) in Quincy.

   Born March 13, 1952 in Maywood, Missouri, Sharon was the daughter of Taylor Johnson and Dorothy May Roberts.

   Sharon enjoyed volunteering with the Jefferson Youth Center. She liked to clean and will be remembered for her volunteer cleaning at Lampe Hi Rise.  Sharon was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with her family.

   Sharon had been married to Robert Humes and to that union came three children, Robert Carl Ray Humes of Quincy, Tammy Lummer (Eric) of Quincy and Billy Humes who preceded her in death. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Pierce Lummer and Makenzie Lummer; two brothers, Bobby Johnson and Larry Johnson (Peggy) both of Quincy; a niece, Crystal Brown; a nephew, Randy Johnson; and an uncle Oscar Johnson (Emma) of Maywood, MO.

   Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Billy Humes.

   Sharon's wishes were to be cremated with no service to be held.

   The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

   Memorials may be made to the family of Sharon L. Humes.

She was always amazing! She treated Mandy and myself as her own and helped fix our sugar rushes with a snickers bar and my dew! That made going to dad's every other weekend even better! Dad has always said she is an amazing friend and they definitely always had a hoot when together. Thinking of each you through this time.
