   Lori Ann Whaley, of Quincy, died Friday (April 10, 2015) at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

   Born October 4, 1969 in Quincy, Lori was the daughter of Ron Pickett and Sherry Hild-Russell.  She married Rodney K. Whaley on October 7, 1995 in Quincy. He survives.  

   Lori enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening, was an avid fan of the Hannibal Falcons Semi Pro Football team and was a die hard Oakland Raiders fan.  Lori was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Ollie, who was  the apple of her eye.  

  Lori was currently employed as a sales clerk at the Jiffy Stop at 24th and State.  

  Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leroy and Letha Pickett and George and Dorothy Hild

   Survivors include her husband, Rodney K Whaley of Quincy;  her father, Ron Pickett (Donna) of Taylor, MO; her mother Sherry Russell (Mike) of Quincy; a son, Alex M. Pickett of Quincy; a grandson Ollie R. Pickett of Tacoma, WA; a brother Tom Pickett (Michelle) of Quincy; three step brothers, Steve Russell (Cindi) and Brian Russell both of St. Louis, MO, and David Budde of Taylor, MO; and a step sister, Denna Wolfe (Mike) of Ohio.  

   Funeral services will be held at Tuesday evening at 6:00pm at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.

   Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 3:00 to 6:00 at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to the Lori Ann Whaley Memorial Fund

To Rod & Alex,
My deepest sympathy to the both of you for the loss of your beloved wife and mother. I will never forget her sincere heart and kindness towards everyone she came in contact with, she always made me feel comfortable conversating with her mainly because she knew the right time to say something to get a laugh out of me and others! She truly is going to be missed by ALL.
Though it's hard, just remember All the joy she brought into your lives and that she is now bringing joy to all in heaven with her amazing warm heart.
