DUCKY  TIPTON

   Dorales A. "Ducky" Tipton, 83, of Quincy, died at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday (October 13, 2015) in Sunset Home.

   Born May 19, 1932 in Brookfield, Missouri, Ducky was the daughter of Elmer and Dora Gall Richardson.  She married Bobby G. Tipton on February 23, 1952 in Quincy.  He preceded her in death on June 10, 1999.

   Ducky attended Madison Park Christian Church and was a Life member of South Side Boat Club. Ducky's greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

   Survivors include two daughters, Michele Moenning (Michael) of Quincy and Annette Boster (Rev. Mark) of Huntley, IL; seven grandchildren, Brian Cox (Chrissy) of Quincy, Erin Lutz (Mark) of Noblesville, IN, Erica Douglas (Chad) of Quincy, Zachary Boster of Huntley, IL, Seth Boster of Anniston, AL, Jonathan Boster of Huntley, IL and Grace Boster of Huntley, IL; six great grandchildren, Elle Cox, Conner Cox, Noah Douglas, Claire Douglas, Bryn Lutz and Hayden Lutz; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Ducky was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby; and a son, Steven Michael Tipton.

   Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Boster officiating.  Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

   Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Saturday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice or the Blessing Cancer Center.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She was so kind to me and we had a great talk at Uncle Darrell's visitation. I always liked her so much. When we'd see them at a visitation my husband and son always made a beeline for your dad. You were so fortunate to have had such great parents. My parents were Junior and Edna Kinne from Barry.
