JOHN "SONNY"  SCHULTHEIS

   John Leroy "Sonny" Schultheis, 78, of Quincy, died at 4:03 p.m. Thursday (February 4, 2016) in his home.

   Born November 5, 1937 in Quincy, Sonny was the son of John William and Martha Turnbough Schultheis.

   Sonny enjoyed going for walks around town and in his younger days he loved fishing.  Heloved animals and enjoyed caring for the family pets.

   Sonny was employed for 30 years for Pepsi Cola in Quincy and then as a custodian for Blessing Hospital until his retirement.

   Survivors include a nephew, Matthew Auriene (Patricia) of Cairo, MO; a niece, Sharon Roth (Rich) of Hot Springs, AR; his step mother, Twila Schultheis of Quincy; a step sister, Tena Barry (Randy) of Quincy; two step brothers, Brad Richmiller (Barb) and Phil Richmiller both of Quincy; a step sister in law, Mary Richmiller of Cassville, MO; and many great nieces and great nephews.

   Mr. Schultheis was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Elaine Evertson; and a step brother, James Richmiller.

   Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

   Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 1:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to the Blessing Heart Center.
