   Lee E. Pryor Sr, 75, of Plainville, Illinois, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (July 5, 2016) in his home.

  Born October 7, 1940 in Quincy, Lee was the son of  Lloyd Kenneth and Luellen Gronewold Pryor.  He married Barbara M. Smith on July 4, 1962 in Quincy.  She survives.

  Lee was a member of the Plainville United Methodist Church, Bodley Masonic Lodge
No. 1 and Quincy Consistory Scottish Rite. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycles and watching NASCAR and his cattle.

   Lee farmed on the family farm in Plainville. He was also employed as a truck driver for Trinity Industries and part time for McNay Truck Company.  

   Survivors include his wife of 54  years, Barbara; three sons, Lee E. Pryor Jr. (Mindy) of Plainville, IL, Kevin Pryor (Marcia) of Palmyra, MO and Kenneth Pryor (Tonya) of Monroe City, MO; eleven grandchildren, Sara Campbell (Luke), Juliann Pryor, Emilee Pryor, Abbie Pryor, Lee E. Pryor III, Ariel Pryor, Nicholas Pryor, K. Layne Pryor, Krista Fainter (Matt), Shawn McCord (Kristen) and Marissa Massner; four great grandchildren, Adam Campbell, Alaina Fainter, Liam Fainter and Rogan McCord; a brother, Lloyd Pryor of Quincy; three sisters, Lois Dailing of Marblehead, IL, Linda Catlett (Larry) of Camp Point, IL and Lynette Alberchanski (Carl) of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Mr. Pryor was preceded in death by his parents.

   Cremation has been accorded to Mr. Pryor.  Bodley Lodge No. 1 will conduct Masonic Services Sunday evening at 6:00 at Plainville United Methodist Church.  Memorial services will follow the Masonic Service at the Plainville United Methodist Church with Pastor Lois Sorrill officiating.  
   Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 4:00 until the time of services at the Plainville United Methodist Church.

   Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice or the Plainville United Methodist Church.

So sorry to read about Lee. You and family have my thoughts and prayers. Please call anytime fore I have been down that road about 4 months ago. Will remember the fun times that we had playing cards a long time ago.

Barb and family sorry of your loss are prayers and thoughts are with you guys. Alvin had told us he was sick. May he rest in peace now if I can do anything for you please let me know I know it has to be hard on you and boys he will be missed
