   Donna L. Bourne, 70, of Quincy, died at 11:11 a.m. Monday (July 11, 2016) in Good Samaritan Home.

   Born March 5, 1946 in Gainesville, Florida, Donna was the daughter of Charles and Gilberta Lutz Clark.  She married Michael H. Bourne on December 31, 1966 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on July 29, 2014.

   An avid Bridge player, Donna was a member of the National Bridge Association. She also enjoyed taking bus trips for day long excursions in the area and was an Alan Jackson fan, having gone to see him in concert four times.  Family was most important to Donna, and she cherished every moment she spent with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

   Donna was employed as a CNA at St. Mary Hospital prior to her marriage.  She later was employed at various businesses in Quincy, including Kirlin's and Fisher Business Supply.  Donna retired in 2013 from medical records at Blessing Hospital.

   Survivors include three children, Beth Anne Bourne-Reed (Heins Pappenfoht), Debbie C. Bourne and Michael C. Bourne (Jill R. Christiansen) all of Quincy; eight grandchildren, Jake R. Reed, Katherine Leebold (Jesse "Jerry"), Seth "Bubba" Reed, Devon Jansen-Bourne, Melissa R. Bourne, Nikki G. Bourne, Logan M. Greenwood-Bourne and Oliver Bourne; four great grandchildren, Cash W. Reed, Jocelyn N. Leebold, Jaclyn E. Leebold and Cohen Reed; two brothers, William Clark of Atlanta, GA and Roger Clark (Lana) of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Donna was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Michael.

   Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Pastor Greg Javaux.  Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Quincy.

   Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Thursday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for the Rehabilitation Services Fund.

So sorry to hear of Donna's passing. Whenever I think of her, I am reminded of Christmas at mom and dad's. She will be missed but she is in a better place. No more pain, suffering or sorrow. I trust that we can all look forward to seeing her again.
