JUDITH ANN VANCE "JUDY"

  Judith Ann Vance "Judy",  78 of Kirksville, MO formerly of Quincy died at 3:25 a.m. Saturday (September 24, 2016) in Kirksville, Missouri.

   Born April 25, 1938 in Adams County, IL near Ursa, Judy was the daughter of John R. and Emma May Moore Vance.

   Judy was a 1956 graduate of Mendon High School.  She enjoyed going to the car races and doing puzzle books.  Judy especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

   Survivors include her daughter Kim Smith (Eric) of Kirksville, MO; two sons Lee Kaufman (Ronda) of Atlanta, GA and Kevin Kaufman of Columbia, MO.  Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, several cousins and a special cousin Loretta Wardlow of Fowler, IL.

  Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Willard Kaufman and Paul Wear, a daughter Tammy Kaufman, an infant grandson Kevin Kaufman II and a granddaughter Joyce Ostrander.

   Graveside services will be held Tuesday morning 11:00 in Evergreen Cemetery in Camp Point, Illinois with Pastor Harold Engel officiating.  

   Visitation will be held Tuesday morning from 9:00 until 10:15 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy.      

   Memorials may be made to the Judith Ann Vance Memorial Fund.

Dear Kim and family, i am sorry to hear about Judy's passing. You have my deepest sympathy and know she was very much loved by all her family. Mother's are so special and your memories of all your fun times together will help you through this time of sadness. May God give you peace of mind, comfort and hold you in His loving arms.
