Sara Ehrhart 38, of Fountain, Colorado, formerly of Payson, passed unexpectedly on December 3, 2016 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  She was born on January 10, 1978 in Hannibal, Missouri.

The two most important things in her life were her family and friends. She was an active volunteer in the Boys Scouts with her sons as well as other organizations in her community. She attended Payson Seymour High school in Payson, Illinois and graduated in 1996. After high school she met Michael Ehrhart and they were married on June 18, 1997. They had two sons Timothy and Cody. They started their life together as a military family and lived in many different places. Sara later completed her degree and became a Histologist. She worked for Centura Health Systems in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado. She loved to go camping and four wheeling with her family, traveling to many different places, and spending as much time with her family and friends as possible.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Ehrhart; sons, Timothy and Cody; a daughter, Jessica Wilder; a step son, Taylor Leffers; her mother, Debbie Daggett; two siblings, Tracy Schmidt and Brian Daggett; and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rick Daggett; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joan and Mike Ehrhart; and many other extended family members.

A gathering and celebration of life will be held Tuesday evening (December 13, 2016) at 6:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy.
