ROSALEA ARMEL

   Rosalea Armel, 95, of Quincy, died at 10:50 p.m. Monday (February 13, 2017) in the Country Aire Retirement Estates in Lewistown, Missouri.

   Born May 2, 1921, in Valley City, Illinois, Rosalea was the daughter of Hugh and Frances Comstock Robison.  She was married to William Armel for over 50 years and he survives.

   Rosalea enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales and going out to eat.  She especially loved being with family at family reunions and dinners.

   Rosalea had been employed at Quincy Speaker, Premier Linen and Kalo Inoculant Company for several years until her retirement.

   Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mary Sue Seeger of Knox City, MO; a son, Jerry Dodds of Frederick, IL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a brother, Dean Robison (Verla) of Warsaw, IL; a sister, Wanda Clostermery of Beardstown, IL; and several loving nieces and nephews.

   Mrs. Armel was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Frances Bradley; and two brothers, Sam and Frank Robison.

   Graveside services will be held Monday morning at 11:00 at Quincy Memorial Park with Pastor Steve Disseler officiating.

   There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the graveside service.

   Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

   Arrangements are in the care of the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.
