JIMMY LEE RICHESON JR.
Jimmy Lee Richeson Jr., 25, of Quincy, died at 4:50 p.m. Saturday (April 8, 2017) in West Quincy, Missouri.
Born July 11, 1991 in Quincy, Jimmy was the son of Chelly (nee, Johnson) and Ed Peterson and Jimmy Richeson Sr. Jimmy was engaged to be married to Jasmine Forrest of Quincy.
Jimmy was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, but family was most important in his life. He enjoyed shooting pool and fishing with his grandfather, Alvah and loved go carting and 4 wheeling with his children.
Jimmy will be remembered as a "jack of all trades" who was always looking for something to fix. He was employed by the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local No. 2 at Ed Rutherford Roofing in Monroe City, Missouri and most recently with Complete Roofing in Imperial, Missouri.
Survivors include his mother and step father, Chelly and Ed Peterson of Quincy; his father, Jimmy Richeson Sr.; two children, Jaydin Warning and Jaydrian Richeson Stupavsky; his fiance', Jasmine Forrest of Quincy; two brothers, Nathan Richeson of Centralia, MO and Jeremy Richeson of Quincy; two sisters, Amber Johnson of St. Charles, MO and Haeley Peterson of Quincy; maternal grandfather, Alvah Johnson of Quincy; maternal step grandparents, Don and Sissy Peterson of Swarthmore, PA; three aunts, Leanne Young (Chuck) of Quincy, Christine Forsythe of Camp Point, IL and Laurie Koranda of Clinton, IA; an uncle, Thad Johnson of Quincy; five nieces and nephews, Nova Richeson, Kaelyn Richeson, Bailey Richeson, Amaris Barger and Elijah Barger; and many loving cousins.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Margaret Sue Johnson; maternal great grandparents, Leo and Nadine Johnson and Lee Roy and Lillie Mae Byard; and paternal grandfathers, Francis Richeson and Henry Yohn.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with Pastor V. Lee Amsler officiating. Burial will be in the Durham Cemetery, Durham, Missouri.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Friday morning from 9:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.
