We were closer than brothers, and I always thought of you as a brother. We had a lot of adventures, and good times. Though we lost contact over the years, I never forgot you. I thought often how good it would be to see you again. You were a great friend and leader, and you will not be forgotten. You were greatly loved brother, I only wish I could've been there to see you off.
R I P brother, you will be missed!

When I was in Quincy for our 30 year reunion I did all I could to contact him but he never returned any of my calls. I'm so sorry to hear of this. There were many storied we could have relived. Richard was my "Brother from another Mother". Though we got separated over the years, he always was a dearly loved friend and trusted brother. I will never forget him. I only regret is that I didn't get to see him again before he died. My condolences go ut to all of his friends and family.
