LINDA RAY HAMANN

   Linda Ray Hamann , 68, of Quincy, died at 7:56 a.m. Sunday (September 17, 2017) in Blessing hospital.

   Born January 28, 1949 in Quincy, Linda was the daughter of  Ernest William and Colleen Mintle Winget. Linda was married to Reginald "Reg" Rowsey, (Francis) Bud Briscoe and Glenn O'Briant.

    Linda was an animal lover and member of the A.S.P.C.A. and she cherished the time she spent with her family.

   Linda was a 1967 graduate of Quincy High School and  was an accomplished seamstress.

   Survivors include a son, Ky Rowsey of Portland, Oregon; two daughters, Trasie Briscoe Huber (Leroy) and Glenda O'Briant both of Quincy; seven grandchildren, Jacob Rowsey, Noah Rowsey, Abbi Rolf, Cody Harrison, Carlye Harrison, Kira Harrison and Jesse O'Briant all of Quincy; four great grandchildren, Charli Holtschlag, Starionna Harrison, Oliver Harrison and Robbie Harrison; two sisters, Judy K. Smith (William J.) and Sharon F. Duss both of Quincy; a brother Randy L. Winget (Maggie) of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

   Ms. Hamann was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Bud Briscoe.

   Cremation arrangements are in the care of the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.

   The family will host a gathering of family and friends to celebrate Linda's life on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00 at the Shelter House by the pond at the Illinois Veteran's Home.  

   Memorials may be made to Trasie Huber or Glenda O'Briant to help with expenses.

Tracy, Glenda..So sorry for your momma's passing.Its been forever since I've seen her but still remember our laughs..Keep your eyes to the skies and you will see her again one day...

We didn't always get along at the lampe but I didn't wish this on anyone. May u rest in forever peace and may ur family findnsome kind of peace dealing with this loss
