    Dale Stephen Law, age 82 of Quincy, passed away at 8:49 pm Monday (December 11, 2017) in Blessing Hospital.  

   Born April 8, 1935 in Columbus, Illinois, Dale was the son of  Delbert Leo and Mildred AuYern Stephenson Law. He married Rose Mary Flesner on October 1, 1955 in Columbus, Illinois. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2017.

   A 1953 Graduate of Mt. Sterling High School, Dale enjoyed watching the History Channel and the Classic Car Channel as well as going to the car shows.

   Dale was employed as a truck driver for 10 years for Modern Dairy. He then worked as an End Loader for Calcium Cardonate from 1969 until his retirement in 1995. After his retirement, Dale worked as a crossing guard for the Quincy Public School District for several years.

   Survivors include his daughter, Catherine Lorenson (Ron) of Quincy; two sons, Steven W. Law (Sherry) of Quincy and Michael D. Law of Henderson, NV; seven grandchildren, Christine Geschwander, Nicole Cassidy (Brandon) of Quincy, Gregory Law of Scottsdale, AZ, Jennifer Alexander (Anthony) of Orlando, FL, Erin Smutz (Lane) of Dallas, TX, Michelle Law of Quincy and Cody Lorenson of Quincy; six great grandchildren, Devin, Abby, Colin, Sydaleigh, Alaina and A.J.; two brothers, David Law (Judy) of Astoria, IL and Tom Law (Sharon) of Morton, IL; and two sisters, JoAnn Miller (Clause) of Mountain Grove, MO and Ernestine Gerula (John) of Springfield, IL.
    Mr. Law was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rose, his sister Marilyn Petri and his daughter in law Lorri Law.

   Graveside services will be held Monday morning at 11:30 in Greenmount Cemetery with Reverend Steve Disseler officiating.  

    Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to help fund funeral expenses.
