My deepest condolences to the Goodson family.  I visited with Mary in April.  As this was my first visit to Quincy, Luanne, Mary and I drove around, seeing the many sights, stopping hither and yon.  She was a gracious hostess and the mother of my dear friend, Luanne.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Mary once, when she and her daughter Luanne came to visit us in Georgia a few years ago... but I fell in love with her immediately, and regretted very much that the distance between Georgia and Illinois kept us from becoming good friends, because I know we would have.  To all her family, please know that we (including my Dad, Norman Elwood Goodson, her late husband''''s uncle, formerly of Knox City MO), send our thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I am very saddened to hear of Mary's passing. I worked with her at Two Rivers for many years; she had a heart of gold. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. She will be missed by all that knew her.

I am sorry to read of your loss. Many have lost loved ones and want to see them again. The Bible actually says what will be death's unavoidable eventuality at Revelation 21:4, which says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Death will be gone forever. May this be of encouragement to the family of Mary Goodson.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Mary's family.  I was saddened to hear of her death.  I worked with Mary at Two Rivers and regret that I have not seen her in several years.  She was a very special lady.

Luanne, Mike & Patrice -

Debbie and I are so sorry to hear of Mary's passing.  We have so many fond memories or being with Mary from time to time,  Though we couldn't get to Quincy as much as we would have liked, we always stopped in to see Mary & she always seemed so happy to see us - she always made us felt welcome.  We will truly miss her & just knowing she's there.  She was a very special lady!
