Very sorry for your loss.  We visited with Goldie in Tucson when we visited the Myers Family.

Goldie and I were co-workers and good friends back in the State Street Store on State Street. Always had a fun time , in later years I always called her in Arizona when I made sugar cookies, her recipe.  She loved hearing about people in Quincy and longed to come back for a visit but knew she wasn't up to the trip. I called before Christmas and no connection, that told me something had changed. She was fortunate to have remained in her home all those many years.
My deepest sympathy to her family whom she always adored. You were very good to her. Would love to have an email to learn more about her last days.  I will miss those calls but always think of her when making the cookies!
The weather is quite bad here so as much as I wanted a part in her funeral , it will be impossible to attend. I am sorry it wasn't snow and sleet free.  Jane and Sonny Voepel
