My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Family. She was a sweet spirited and devoted Lady, and as well a wonderful example of our Lord. Her work here on earth is done and has been granted her eternal rest. Lets us not say "Good Bye" rather "see you latter", for we will meet again, this is God's promise to His Children. My "Shekinah Glory "surround you with His presences and His blessed peace as you celebrate her life and the rewards of her Heavenly home in our Fathers House.  "Selah"

My heart is broken over the loss of Aunt Millie.  She was such a wonderful aunt.  Her thoughtful gifts, kind words, and endless smile always brighten my day.  Though I did not see her for many years her influence on my life continues in my memories of childhood visits, her laughter with mom, and her love of life.   Many years ago Auntie Millie put a simple binder together with blank paper.  Her instructions was to write down what I was thankful for each day for a full year.  I did not think I could do it but I did.  I found that life was filled with things that I could be thankful for.  In doing this project, I found I smiled more and enjoyed life more.  I am very thankful for Aunt Millie and all she taught me. My heartfelt prayers go out to Uncle Gib, all my wonderful cousins and their children.

I had hoped to see Aunt Millie at the reunion this summer so I could personally thank her for her thoughtfulness over these many years. She sent me a Christmas card every year since I was a child no matter how many times I moved. Inside the card she always took time to write something. I  will always remember the times we had in Quincy, her love of music, her laugh, fried catfish. I will miss her. I will keep the Allen family in my thoughts.

I'm sorry to hear of Millie passing.  You can find comfort in your faith because you know God is with you and she abides with hm.  Doris Mason
