John's family:  You have my heartfelt sympathy at your great loss.  John Harberts was a treasure.  I worked with him in the court system of Adams County and found him to be an excellent sheriff's officer.  Gruff when gruffness was called for, and kindhearted when empathy was needed.  (And, yes, I did see him use "the claw").  He is in our thoughts and prayers.

Harberts Family- My sympathy to you at the loss of a wonderful man.  I remember him fondly as my bus driver at Jr. High over 50 years ago and at The Barn, too.  I will keep you in my prayers.

To the Family of John H. Haarberts. I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one, John.  May the God of comfort heal your heart.   The passing of someone you love can be a very hard thing to deal with.  I hope you can find comfort in the promise of the resurrection mentioned in the Bible at 1 Corinthians 15:21 & 22.   Sincerely, Kristy
