Dear Epperson family,
I thought of him many times over the years as I had said many times to him, The best Dam cobbler in the city of Quincy, I even sang that to him once when he and his wife was celebrating their wedding anniversary at the Pier one night in the mid 1990's. Honest and caring, I sure knew many good people in Quincy in my time.
God rest his soul now.

Dad did get the message from your dad's passing.   Your folks and my dad have lived good, long, comfortable lives and I'm sure you are grateful for that just like I am.  I do remember the many times our families got together and cherish those memories.  I hope your whole family, especially your mom, will find comfort and peace in the days ahead.

Elma and Family - I am sorry for your loss - Elma and Harley were my neighbors on Lind St when I was growing up. Mom would send me to pick up repaired shoes, at the house or shop. Wonderful community people! I wish you peace.

Denny, Nancy and family,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. I remember a lot of trips to the store on Broadway to get shoes repaired. Everyone in the store was always so nice and helpful. I know that many are thinking of you at this time. I appreciate his service!

I was so sorry to read of Mr. Epperson's passing.  I remember going with my dad to his shop to get the lawn mower's blades sharpened.  Mr. Epperson was so patient with my many questions - and I did always seem to have lots of questions!  God bless!
