Jan and Tom:

What a great Aunt and caring person.  Your Mom touched many lives and I'll never forget all of the fun times at summer picnics and Christmas functions at your home.  Having the great Middendorf family around was a great gift and we extend our condolences and wanted you to know that we are thinking of you.

Jan and Tom,

You are correct in saying that she had many loving nieces and nephews, and I was one of them. Aunt Dot was a wonderful Aunt who I loved very much. I respected her for many reasons and always enjoyed being with her. (She also made the best Christmas cookies.) The past several years have not been easy for you and, like your Aunt Lucy, I know the loss of memory is very difficult on children. I'm happy she was well cared for and that should bring you comfort.

When the Middendorf clan got together, there was a lot of laughter. This generation is almost gone. I will definitely miss the fun we shared ... bless you all and my heart goes out to you and your families.

Love, Mary

I am so sorry that I can't come to see you  (Jan and Tom) and your families.  I am pretty much wheel chair bound.  So many memories are going through my mind this morning.  All the wonderful times we had through the years.  She led a nice life up to a few years ago.  Thinking about you and wishing you peace and gentle comfort.

Jan and family.  I am so sorry for your loss.  She was a great lady to work with all those years ago at the bank.  Hugs and prayers to all of you.
