Don was a member of the 1955 graduating class of the Nebo Ill. High School.  Amy and I were class mates.  Don was a great friend, both in that School and that friendship remained strong throughout the years.  We were houseguests of Patti and Don when they lived in Estes Park.  We were always happy to see them at class reunions.

Don was one who always left you in an "up" mode after talking with him.  Such a great sense of Humor !!

We extend our condolences to Patty and daughter, along with our love and best wishes.

Floyd and Amy Hamilton

Dear Patti, Kisha and Cooper,

Greg and I were so saddened to hear of Don's passing. Don will forever be remembered for his dedication to his family and career -- he touched so many lives all across the country. We will remember Don, our cousin, for his delightful sense of humor, intelligence, generosity, kindness and for how much he loved his family. What an inspiring gentleman!

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this tragic time. May your wonderful memories bring you some measure of comfort.

With all our love and deepest sympathy,
Greg and Kathryn Kelly

My sincere condolence Patti, on the loss of Don. He was a true and honest friend, fellow Police Officer and mentor for a little over 4 years to me, 40 some years ago. He will be missed by many, I wish I could have talked to him the last couple years on my trips back to Quincy, but I never got the chance. May the Peace of our Lord be with you and your family.

Dear Patti and Family,
As you know, I worked with Don in the Investigation Unit. He was a great man and leader. He was a true "professional". Your loss is shared by many....
God Bless
