
ALINE DECKER
Mrs. Helen Aline Decker, 91, of Sunset Home, formerly of 2027 Oak, died at 5:15 a.m. Sunday (April 17, 2005) in Blessing Hospital.
Born March 17, 1914 in Siloam Springs, Adams County, Illinois, Aline was the daughter of Ralph and Edith Waner Mayfield. She married Bennie Decker in 1940 in Troy, Kansas. He survives.
Mrs. Decker was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church and she enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Bennie; a daughter, Mary Kilgore of Portland, OR; two granchildren, Krista Kilgore Leischner and her husband Tom of Elmhurst, IL. and Kandace Kilgore of Chicago; a great grandchild, Layla Leischner of Elmhurst, IL.; a nephew, Donald Mayfield and his wife Carol of Hull, IL.; and a niece, Betty Means of Jacksonville, IL.
Mrs. Decker was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Harold "Bud" Mayfield; and a sister Violet Mayfield.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Hairold Gregory. Burial will be in the Southside Cemetery in Clayton.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 and Friday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.
