
ALBERTA CRIM
Mrs. Alberta Crim, 85, of Plainville, Illinois, died at 4:27 a.m. Monday (May 4, 2009) in Blessing Hospital.
Born April 6, 1924 in Quincy, Alberta was the daughter of Albert and Hilda Arends Boehl. She married Merle William Crim on January 19, 1946 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on August 27, 1991.
Alberta was a graduate of Quincy High School and a 50 year member of the Adams County Home and Community Education Extension and also the Plainville Day Unit. She enjoyed being outdoors working in her yard and tending to her flowers.
Mrs. Crim was employed by the U.S. Postal Service at the Plainville Post Office for 20 years until her retirement.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Crim and his wife Sandi of Hull, IL: three grandchildren, Allison Kleitz and her husband Brett of St. Louis, MO, LeAnn Maiers and her husband Tim of Payson, IL and Eric Crim and his wife Erin of St. Louis, MO; eight great grandchildren, Victoria Kleitz, Alexander Kleitz, Elizabeth Kleitz, Trevor Maiers, Megan Maiers, Amanda Maiers, Curtis Crim and Caila Crim; a sister, Wilma Burke of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Crim was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Merle; a granddaughter in infancy; and a sister, Dorothy Rabe.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson by Pastor Stacy Tomich. Burial will be in Stewart Cemetery near Plainville.
Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:30 until the time of services at the funeral home in Payson.
