ALVERA L. NOOE

Mrs. Alvera L. Nooe, 92, of Hutchinson, Kansas, formerly of Quincy, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday (March 6, 2005) in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Born May 2, 1912 in Quincy, Alvera was the daughter of William and Bertha Menne Maas. She married Eugene E. Nooe on April 25, 1935 in Bowling Green, Missouri. He died July 8, 1974.

Survivors include a son, Eugene K. Nooe of Salinas, CA.; four daughters, Brenda McGraw of Hutchinson, KS; Vicky Willison and her husband John of Buhler, KS; Sandy Austin and her husband Jim, Maurine Cason and her husband Richard, all of Quincy; five grandchildren, Michael Nooe of Salinas, CA., John Willison Jr. and his wife Brandy, Lisa McIntosh and Lynn Willison and his wife Laurie, all of Buhler, KS. and Scott Cason and his wife Kristen of Crawfordville, FL.; seven great-grandchildren, Allen McIntosh, Emma Willison, Maddie Willison and Rylee Willison all of Buhler, KS. and Courtney Cason, Caitlyn Cason and Matthew Cason all of Crawfordville, FL.

Mrs. Nooe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter in law, Wanda Nooe; a brother, Harold Maas; and two sisters, Marie Hilgenbrinck and Irene Arns.

Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in Quincy Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 12:30 to 1:45 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society.
