
ANN PALMER
Mrs. Dolores Ann Palmer, 77, of Loraine, Illinois, died at 5:33 p.m. Saturday (April 12, 2008) in Blessing Hospital.
Born February 23, 1931 in Macomb, Illinois, Ann was the daughter of Glenn and Inez Hartman Kline. She married Dean Palmer on December 3, 1949 in Pickett, Arkansas. He survives.
Ann was a member of the Loraine Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and will be remembered for all of the rabbits and teddy bears she made over the years. She was devoted to her family and especially loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ann was employed for many years at Graham's Apple Orchard and then at Methode Electronics in Carthage until her retirement.
Survivors include her husband, Dean; nine children, Priscella Murphy and her husband Dan of Cincinnati, OH., Linda Kramer and her husband Dean of Quincy, IL., Richard Palmer of Mendon, IL., Delbert Lee Palmer of Quincy, IL., Jimmy Palmer and his wife Donna of Quincy, IL., John Palmer and his wife Kathie of Loraine, IL., Dannie Joe Palmer and his wife Amy of Mendon, IL., David Palmer of Loraine, IL. and Becky Palmer of Carthage, IL.; thirteen grandchildren, Troy Murphy of North Carolina, Tony Murphy of Rockford, IL., Dr. Terry Murphy of Cincinnati, OH., Billy Cunningham of Indianapolis, IN., Amanda Demien of Jacksonville, IL., Jimmy Dean Palmer of Quincy, IL., Matt Palmer of Ewing, MO., Jonathan Dillinger of Quincy, IL., Jessica Dillinger of Quincy, IL., Brittney Palmer of Loraine, IL, Abbygail Palmer of Loraine, IL., Joshua Palmer of Mendon, IL. and Jessie Palmer of Anchorage, AK; eleven great grandchildren, McKenzie, Sophia, Gabrielle, Lexi, Casey, Cami, Lexi, Emmi, Vicky, Ali and Bailey; three brothers, Jack Kline and his wife Sydney of Dallas City, IL., Danny Kline of Lomax, IL. and Max Kline and his wife Beth of Milwaukee, WI.; three sisters, Dorothy Heins and her husband Delno of Stillwater, MN., Donna Brando and her husband Bob of Becker, MN and Mary Fiddler and her husband Phil of Ft. Madison, IA.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her parents; a great grandson, Tad Murphy; two brothers, Richard Kline and Rolland "Ronnie" Kline; and a sister, Audrey O'Neil.
Cremation rites have been accorded to Mrs. Palmer. Memorial services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 in the Loraine Methodist Church by the Rev. Oliver Taube. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Loraine Cemetery.
The family will meet with friends following the memorial service. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy is in charge of the arrangements.
