     Mr. Avy W. Ring, 88, of the Illinois Veterans Home, died at 8:45 p.m. Friday (January 6, 2006) in Blessing Hospital.

     Cremation rites have been accorded to Mr. Ring. Services will be held in Rockford, IL.
