BARBARA LOUISE LEHMAN HARTMAN

    Mrs. Barbara Louise Lehman Hartman, 77, of 1726 West Granview Drive, Quincy, died Thursday (January 24, 2008) in Blessing Hospital.

    Born March 3, 1930 in Hutchison, Kansas, Barbara was the daughter of Frank and Edythe Suenram Lehman. She married Earl W. Hartman in Pittsburg, Kansas. He died July 17, 1999.

    Barbara was a member of Union United Methodist Church and the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club. She was a caring person and for many years volunteered to mentor children with reading problems.

    Mrs. Hartman was employed at J.M. Huber for many years until her retirement.

    Surviving is her brother, Charles Lehman of Northport, AL.

    Mrs. Hartman was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Earl.

   Cremation rites have been accorded to Mrs. Hartman. A memorial service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Morwell.

    Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.

    Graveside memorial services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kansas by the Rev Ken Butts.

    Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
