BETTY SIMPSON

     Mrs. Betty Simpson, 70, of  the Sycamore Health Care Center, died at 6:44 a.m. Tuesday (November 1, 2005) in Sycamore Health Care Center.

     Born April 24, 1935 in Quincy, Betty was the daughter of Harold and Ruby J. Winn Brassfield.

     Surviving is a son, Jayme Simpson.

     Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William Brassfield; and two sisters, Vera Reddick and Adeline in infancy.

     Graveside services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:00 in Greenmount Cemetery by the Rev. George Tomko.

     There is no visitation, but friends are invited to the services.

     Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice or the Area Agency on Aging.
